Fortnite: How to Get Free V-Bucks

How to Get Free V-Bucks in Fortnite Battle Royale

Recommended Videos

Fortnite Battle Royale offers up a pretty great battle royale experience for absolutely nothing. It offers a level of polish that few other titles in the genre can meet right now, and thanks to constant updates, there’s always something new and exciting for players to check out. Of course, Epic Games has gotta make money somehow, and so it has a bunch of cosmetic items available for the in-game currency known as V-Bucks.

V-Bucks more often than not require you to pay for them with real-life money. However, there is a way to get free V-Bucks in Fortnite Battle Royale by simply playing the game. As you’re playing, you’ll find there are Challenges for you to complete either as part of the Free Pass, or Daily Challenges. By completing these, you’ll earn Battle Stars, which, in turn, will level your Free Pass tier up. Once you reach tiers 18 and 34 (at least in Season 4), you’ll be rewarded with 100 V-Bucks. That’s not a whole lot, and probably won’t get you any cosmetics on its own, but hey, free V-Bucks!

Alternatively, if you’re willing to pay for the Battle Pass (which kinda makes these V-Bucks not free but stick with us), you can actually earn 1300 V-Bucks for free on top of the 200 you’ll get from the free pass. Sure, you’ll need to cough up the cash for the Battle Pass, but with ample cosmetics, more challenges to keep you playing, and more free V-Bucks than the pass costs itself, we consider it a worthwhile purchase.

It’s worth noting, however, that outside of these methods of getting V-Bucks for free in Fortnite Battle Royale, there are no other ways. No site will give you free V-Bucks for logging in with your account, so avoid these at all costs to keep your account information safe.

That’s about everything you need to know about getting free V-Bucks in Fortnite Battle Royale. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
