Metal Gear Survive: How to Get Kuban Energy (KUB)

Getting Kuban Energy (KUB) in Metal Gear Survive

Recommended Videos

Kuban Energy, abbreviated as KUB in the game, is the main form of currency you’ll be using in Metal Gear Survive. KUB is used in almost everything you do, from crafting new gear and equipment to upgrading them properly. You’ll need specific resources to craft gear, but you’ll also need a certain amount of KUB to complete that process.

Thankfully, KUB can be obtained pretty easily in the game itself. Killing enemies will give you a chance of getting a small amount of it. Once you get the Fulton system, you can balloon dead enemies out to get extra KUB as well. In addition to that, you should always be keeping a lookout for dark red crystals on the ground as you explore the world. When you see one of these crystals, destroy it, and press the square button (or X if you’re on Xbox One) to interact with it. This will automatically increase your KUB reserve.

It can also be obtained by completing mission objectives in the single-player campaign, and completing missions in the multiplayer portion of the game. And that’s all you need to know about obtaining Kuban Energy in the game for now.
