How Old Ninja (Tyler Blevins) Is

Tyler Blevins a.k.a Ninja is 26 years old and is from Illinois. Having previously spent time as part of several teams including Team Liquid, Cloud9, and Warriors, Ninja now plays for Renegades.

Blevins is known for his Twitch streams as well as his work on eSports teams, with over 2 million subscribers at the time of writing. He began his career as a Halo 3 player, competing in MLG Orlando 2009 as part of team Four of a Kind. After several competitions with various teams he started to place consistently within the top 16. As a Halo Reach player, he cemented this position, finishing in fifth place with Totz, Fearitself, and Victory X.

It is shortly after that, while competing as a Halo 4 player, that Ninja won his first professional tournament, at The Halo 4 Exhibition as part of team Warrior. He then moved over to The Agency, which was quickly snapped up by Cloud9. He was then a part of Cloud9 until he was released on March 18. 2015. Team Liquid picked Tyler Blevins to compete in HCS Indianapolis, where they finished in seventh place.

Tyler was released from Team Ninja and joined a Renegades roster alongside Spartan, Victory X, and StelluR and went on to compete in X Games Aspen 2016 Invitational – they finished fourth. He remains with Renegades at present, competing as a Halo 5 player.

A Nintendo evangelist and X-Files super-fan, Jake can be found peddling his gaming opinions online. He has a soft spot for VR and values story-telling in gaming above all else.
