Is There Splitscreen Co-Op in Dynasty Warriors 9?

Recommended Videos

Dynasty Warriors 9 is the latest game in the series, featuring a slew of new characters and a fully explorable open world. Players can invade enemy fortifications and take on a wealth of side quests using characters like Lu Su, Wang Yi, and Xu Zhu. The game also boasts some new infiltration missions with the use of a nifty grappling hook.

One questions fans might have is if they can play Dynasty Warriors 9 with friends. That said, this game does not support splitscreen multiplayer. You won’t be able to take on the quests with other players, so it isn’t a couch co-op game.

Regardless, there are still other features you can enjoy while playing alone. Players now decorate their own hideouts with items bought from merchants, while the addition of the day and night cycle improves tactical play. Weather will also be a big factor during missions, as enemy vision will be affected by things like rain. You can also collect resources to upgrade your weapons and armor while visiting teahouses can provide some useful buffs.

Despite the lack of splitscreen multiplayer, the game makes up for it with a plethora of new content. For more on Dynasty Warriors 9, check out our wiki.
