Dynasty Warriors 9 will have players roaming a vast, feudal China in their quest for supremacy above all of their enemies. While out and about, you’re going to be dealing with tons of warriors that want you dead, but luckily you won’t just have your weapons to help you. No, items will help you out, too. Here’s how to use them in Dynasty Warriors 9.

First and foremost, you’re going to want to make sure you have the appropriate items you’ll want handy, right at your disposal. To do this, press Start or Options to get to the in-game menu in Dynasty Warriors 9. You’re then going to want to tab over until you see your character and info about them. Select the Equipment option here, and choose your loadout for all of your items.

The items you chose in the step above will all be in the quick menu found in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. To cycle through these options, you’re going to want to press left or right on your d-pad. When you’re ready to use one of them, press up on your d-pad. It’s as easy as that to pop in some items that will help turn the tides of war in your favor!
