Sometimes, you don’t want to embark on an epic quest to take down a terrifying monster. Sometimes, you want to take down a terrifying monster in front of an audience and get rewarded generously for your efforts. When you get one of these hankerings for attention and rewards in Monster Hunter World, you’ll want to compete in the arena.

Monster Hunter World’s arena tasks you with taking down a monster as quickly as possible with a specific preset loadout. There’s a ton of variety in the challenges on offer at the arena, so it’s well worth checking out. Plus, you can earn vouchers which can be used to increase the amount of money you get for completing quests, or to get a meal from the canteen.

To compete in the arena in Monster Hunter World, you’ll first need to go to the Gathering Hub and talk to the NPC at the Arena quest counter. From here, simply select the challenge that you want to take on and the game will take it from there.
