Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle: How to Use Amiibo

How to Use Amiibo in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Recommended Videos

Like pretty much every first-party game that hits the Nintendo Switch or 3DS, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle features amiibo compatibility. However, it’s worth noting right away that you can’t just use any amiibo you have lying around with Kingdom Battle.

Instead, you’ll first need to make sure you’ve got a Mario-related amiibo. So think just about any character within the Mushroom Kingdom and you should be good. Anything else and you won’t be reaping any awards in Kingdom Battle.

In order to use your little collectible figurines in Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, you’ll first need to clear World 1. Once you’ve done this, simply head back to Peach’s castle and seek out the “amiibo R&D” building. Here, you’ll be able to scan your figures in return for some pretty sweet in-game items.

By tapping the NFC figure onto your Switch (or controller), you’ll be able to unlock special weapons which will help you make light work of your enemies.

That’s pretty much everything you need to know to use your collection of Nintendo figures in Mario + Rabbids: Mushroom Kingdom. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
