How to Use Photo Mode in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

Recommended Videos

Hellblade has finally arrived on PC and PS4, guiding players on a dark journey through Viking Hell in search of Senua’s former lover’s soul. The game looks nothing short of gorgeous, with glistening water, incredible lighting effects, and some of the coolest-looking hair we’ve ever seen in a video game. As such, there’s a good chance you want to take some stylish photos along the way. Good thing there’s a photo mode you can use, then.

To use photo mode in Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, all you need to do is press the Options button on your DualShock 4 (Esc on PC), and change the Photo Mode options to On. Once you’ve done this, return to the game and simply press down on your D-pad. This will then bring up the mode, providing you with all manner of different settings and options to play around with. With a bit of tuning and tweaking, you’ll be able to get the very best snapshots of Hellblade that really do it justice.

Once you’ve got the perfect image, you’ll want to press X to hide the UI and then use the Share button on your DualShock 4 to snap a screenshot just as you normally would. Using photo mode simply allows you to tweak a bunch of settings and remove the UI.

That’s all you need to know to use Hellblade’s photo mode. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
