How to Get the Korok Mask in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

The Korok Mask is a new equippable item introduced in the first DLC pack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. By equipping the Korok Mask, you’ll be able to detect Koroks more easily. This should help with your quest to obtain all the Korok Seeds, allowing you to increase your inventory and carry more items.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to brave the Lost Woods again if you want to get it. Head to the Lost Woods (which leads to the Korok Forest, where the Master Sword is), and follow the path until you see two pillars with lit torches. Grab a torch of your own and start making your way through the forest, and keep an eye on your flame to see which way the wind is blowing. Follow the direction of the wind while examining each of the twisted trees you pass by on your way. You’ll eventually find an EX Treasure chest lying in one of the tree trunks, and you can pull it out with the Magnesis ability. Open it up to find the incredibly handy Korok Mask inside.

That’s all you need to know to get the Korok Mask in Breath of the Wild. Be sure to check out our wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
