HOW TO CRAFT MORE AMMO – PREY
As you explore Talos I in Prey you’ll find a variety of different weapons that are useful in your fight against the mimics and phantoms. However, ammo can be quite scarce, so you’re going to want to craft it as soon as you can.
Once you have found a weapon, you’ll begin finding enemies carrying ammo and you’ll be able to loot their bodies for it, but you will also be able to craft the ammunition, but only once you’ve found the separate fabricator plans. You’ll find them stattered around the world – in offices, on desks, or hidden in corners – and you’ll need to find them before you can begin crafting.
Once you have the weapon and the ammo plans, use a fabricator to craft additional ammo. Using crafting materials, select what you want to create and follow the instructions on the fabricator screen. The machine will then begin to craft and the additional ammo will drop out. You can do this as many times as you want, as long as you have the requires materials.
