How to Change Armor and Weapons in Mass Effect: Andromeda

Recommended Videos

If you want to reach the end of Mass Effect: Andromeda, chances are you’re going to need to change your armor and weapons from time to time. Unfortunately, you can’t just change armor and weapons anywhere, so here’s what you need to do.

To change armor and weapons in Mass Effect: Andromeda, you’re going to need to find a Loadout Station. These can be located in most hub areas, as well as on the Tempest. These look like open white lockers and are pretty easy to spot, so make sure to scout out every new area you come across and make a note of these locations. If you’re struggling to find one of these, don’t worry, as you can also modify your loadout before you disembark from the Tempest itself.

In this loadout menu that opens, simply go through the different categories and pick out the armor you want to change to. Press A on Xbox One (X on PS4) to confirm your selection, and that’s all you need to do.

If you want to change armor while you’re out exploring a planet, you need to make it to a Forward Station. On one side of it, you’ll find a Loadout Station you can access by pressing Y on Xbox One (Triangle on PS4).

That’s all you need to know to change armor and weapons in Mass Effect: Andromeda. For everything else on the game, be sure to check out our wiki.
