Harald Curved Greatsword – Dark Souls III The Ringed City
There is a fair number of new weapons introduced in Dark Souls III’s newest DLC, The Ringed City, and one of those is the Harald Curved Greatsword. This strength-based weapon can be seen throughout this expansion as it’s the main weapon that the fat, headless soldiers carry around. In order to get one yourself, you will need to progress to the second bonfire and then make your way to the poison swamp, which is hidden away just behind the giant boulder outside of the spawn. Head to this toxic area and make your way to the left, but be careful as a giant angel of death will try to skewer you with energy bolts.
Dodge its attacks via rolling or hiding out in the small alcoves on the left side of the large room. There are some enemy bugs, but they are exceptionally slow so don’t bother fighting and just run by them so the angel doesn’t pin you down with its attacks. Once you reach the very end of the room, cross through the lake and duck under the large roots for cover to find a spacious area with one of those giant knights. Either fight him normally or run up top to jump down and deliver a fatal plunge attack. After this monster is slain, you will find the Harald Curved Greatsword on the left-hand side in the pool of poison water.
