Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: How to Dodge

How to Dodge – Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Recommended Videos

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is first and foremost a fighting game, meaning that between all of the story and RPG elements, you’ll find yourself up against one or more enemies trying to knock you out. Just as you’d expect from the anime, manga, and previous games, a lot of these enemies are fast and use long range attacks. While blocking (L1/LB) is certainly handy, sometimes you’ll want to completely dodge an attack in order to mitigate all damage and put you in the perfect countering position.

Dodging is thankfully just as easy as pretty much everything else in the game, so you’ll be able to get the hang of it quickly. To dodge in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, hold down your boost button (L2/LT) and then quickly tap the left thumbstick either left or right. This will allow you to quickly sidestep anything coming directly at you. It’s best to use this against an opponent that you’re locked onto, as it’s much easier to read their movements this way.
