How to get to Dalaran in the Broken Isles

Before Dalaran becomes your new HQ, it needs to be transported to the Broken Isles. After purchasing Legion, log into a server and you’ll be greeted by a prompt asking you to begin the expansion questline. This will take you through the Broken Shore scenario. Keep following quest objectives until you end up in Dalaran. The main storyline will see the city transported to the Broken Isles, and you’ll be greeted by an envoy at Krasus’ Landing. You’re now free to explore the city and make use of your new Dalaran Hearthstone.

How to get to Dalaran in the Broken Isles from Stormwind

During your initial Legion quests, you can find a mage holding open a portal to the city in Stormwind Harbor. He’s right up the stairs that lead away from the docks, next to the giant lion statue.

Later on, you’ll find the portal in Stormwind Keep, in a room to the left, just past the entrance.

How to Get there from Orgrimmar

Between The Valley of Strength and The Valley of Spirits is a dark tunnel that leads underground into The Cleft of Shadow. Just inside and to the right you’ll find a portal to the city.
