Overwatch’s Assault game mode has an attacking team trying to capture two control points from a defending team within a set time-limit. Once the first point is captured, the attacking team must then advance further into the enemy territory to capture the second. Therefore, it’s highly likely that when you’re attacking in Assault, you’re gonna come across a lot of resistance from the defending team.

With that in mind, you’ll want to make sure someone on your team has your back. Running into enemy territory on your own and trying to capture the control point has a high probability of not ending well. Make sure you’ve got someone along with you for the ride, preferably a different Hero class that compliments your own.
