For intense Rupee farming, you’re going to want to head to Lurelin Village. found in the East Neculda area, it holds a house with jewels above its door. Inside is a bald man, with a small gambling game for you.

You’ll be able to bet 10 to 100 Rupees, and though the result is based on luck, you can save your game before betting. Sit here for a while, saving and trying for winning games, and you can end up with thousands of Rupees.

You Can Take Selfies

While you can take pictures with your Shieka slate, you can also have Link take sweet selfies. Simple start up the camera rune, then hit X to take the picture. Link will show up in the scenery in one of eight selfie poses.

Green Tunic

There are a couple ways to grab Link’s classic garb in Breath of the Wild. You can get it easily through amiibo, as either the Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, and Wind Waker amiibos will bring in classic Link, who can give you the Green Tunic featured in those games. Without amiibo, you can get this item by solving all 120 Shrine puzzles around the world.

The Horse-Reviving Fairy

Your horses can and probably will die during your travels, from either age or a terrible (and probably your fault) accident. But no matter how your stallion kicked the bucket, there’s a way to bring it back from hell.

In the Faron region, you’ll find a closed up flower containing a horse-reviving fairy. To find the flower, take the southern road from the Lake Tower near the Highland stable. Keep going until you head east and cross a bridge, and you’ll find it there. Touch the flower and Malany will offer you a horse revival for 1000 Rupees.

Cooking Is Best During a Blood Moon

Every few in-game days, the Breath of the Wild world undergoes a Blood Moon at midnight. At this time, the sky will darken, all defeated enemies will be revived, and cooking will be especially strong.

Once the event starts, find a campfire and start mixing ingredients, because everything you make will receive a critical bonus. You’ll get either increased stamina, three extra hearts, a yellow heart, a five-minute buff duration extension, or a +1 level to buffs.

The Hylian Shield

The best shield in the game is a little hard to come by, but you’ll definitely want to pick it up eventually. It’s not unbreakable like the Master Sword, but it can take way more hits than pot lids.

To get it, you’ll need to head to Hyrule Castle and sneak around the back. Go north a bit, and there’ll be a platform that heads into the Hyrule Castle Underground. Head through this dungeon until you find a room filled with bones, where Stalnox will begin battle with you.

It’s a massively tough fight, but you generally should keep your distance, use Stasis to shoot its eye, and hit it when its down. Once all the health is gone, its eye will pop out and you’ll need to destroy it before Stalnox rises again. After you’ve won the fight, a chest will appear with the Hylian Shield inside.

Throw a rusty weapon or shield at a Rock Octorok and the little fella will fling your item back to you in brand-new condition. (need to confirm this idk why my source said rusty and not damaged)

Master Sword

Since we just mentioned the Master Sword, we should tell you how to get that as well.

You’ll find it not far from the start (you can check out the location in the image below), buried in a rock much like Excalibur. Head to the southeast section of the Great Hyrule Forest, and make your way through to the Woodland Tower. Follow the torches until you find a tree with a creepy face, and from there, follow the direction that trees with faces are pointing towards. Once you’re done, you’ll be in Korok Forest, and spot the sword. To pull it out of the stone, you’ll need 13 hearts (not counting any gained from food or items).
