Lost Woods – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The Lost Woods is an area that fans of the series are undoubtedly familiar with, and it’s just as tricky in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as it has been in the past. This area, which is north of the Woodland Tower, is under a sort of spell that leads anyone who enters to get lost, unless they know how to get through of course.

Once you enter the Lost Woods, a heavy fog will settle over the world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. You’ll find yourself on a lonely path with no indicator of which direction to go, but don’t worry, there’s a way to figure it out. Look around and you’ll find a fiery lantern that you need to pay attention to. Notice the direction that the flame is being blown? Follow it.

Eventually, you’ll come to a clearing in the Lost Woods with two more of those lanterns and a torch you can pick up off the ground. Pick up the torch (or use any wooden weapon you own) and light it, then continue to use the same method as before. You’ll want to follow the direction where the embers are blowing. Stop every few seconds to make sure you’re heading in the right direction (you won’t be able to tell while moving due to physics). That’s all there is to it. Soon enough, you’ll reach a clearing that leads to the entrance of the Korok Forest, and you’re all set. You survived this latest version of the Lost Woods.
