One of the secret unlockables in Resident Evil 7 is Infinite Ammo, which has been a series staple since the original title released back in 1996. However, in order to get this valuable cheat, players are going to need to complete the infamous Madhouse difficulty setting. This is the hardest option that changes a lot of the mechanics within the game itself. You will find that enemies hit way harder, move faster, and are way more aggressive this time around. We don’t recommend playing the game like this (even if you do get Infinite Ammo at the end) on your first try, as you’ll also be limited in the number of saves offered.

There will also be fewer items in general, meaning you’ll need to make every single shot count if you want to kill your enemies. Beating this mode is not for the faint of heart and will push you to your limits in terms of accuracy, item management, and stealth skills. Also, you won’t have any checkpoints or auto saves, meaning that you’ll need to really plan your journey before exiting the safe rooms.

However, if you succeed in your venture, Resident Evil 7 players will be rewarded with Infinite Ammo to rain death upon your enemies with. Trust us, nothing is more satisfying than unloading a full clip into a boss without a care in the world.
