Ratchet & Clank PS4: How to Assign Different Weapon Slots

This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

Ratchet & Clank features a wide variety of different weapons for your arsenal of destruction. Luckily, Insomniac Games designed weapons to be switched to easily using a quick select or weapon wheel. You can even customize the quick select to your liking with whatever loadout you use most, for easy access during firefights. No need to open up that weapon wheel every time, so long as you only wanna choose between four specific weapons.

In order to customize the D-Pad quick select, you need to hold down one of the directional buttons you want to customize. While still holding it down, use the right control stick to highlight which weapon you want to take over that slot. Let go of the right mouse stick and then let go of the D-Pad and voila, you’ve just changed up your quick select.

Change up all the weapon slots to suit your playstyle, it’s definitely way faster than using the weapon wheel. You won’t slow the combat down for even a second this way.
