Getting Jack Frost in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

Jack Frost is probably the most iconic mascot for the Shin Megami Tensei series and Atlus itself, so it’s no surprise that the cute demon would show up in Persona 5 too. You can encounter a Jack Frost in Madarame Palace, which is the second dungeon of the game. However, if you’d like to get it through fusion at the Velvet Room, these two combinations should work:

  • Mandrake and Silky
  • Kelpie and Succubus

Jack Frost’s starting level is 11, so your protagonist will need to hit that level first before you’re allowed to fuse it at the Velvet Room. Just like its previous incarnations, this Persona is weak to fire damage but will nullify all ice damage, making it extremely useful when you’re up against enemies with the Bufu spells. Jack Frost can also learn skills like Bufu, Mabufu, Ice Break, Basudi, Rakunda, and Freeze Boost. This Persona’s corresponding arcana type is the Magician, so if you really want to get the most out of your newly-fused Persona, it’s recommended that you increase your Confidant rank with Morgana before doing the actual fusing.
