How to Run Faster and Sprint in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

Persona 5 is all about making use of your time. That’s a huge part of the game. It even reminds you of this during its loading screens. What better way to do this than to burst through places, not waiting around for anybody?

While you’re out and about infiltrating a Palace, you’ll be able to run faster through its halls after a certain point. You can sprint and run faster by holding down R2 while moving. Keep in mind that you’ll also be way easier to detect by shadows if you do this too much or too close to them. It’s best to clear out an area first and then rush on through. You won’t have to worry this way.

Ultimately, though, it might be smarter not to sprint at all. You’ll get into a heap of trouble that’s not worth it, as your character already moves quickly as is. Besides, being able to see stuff that lights up around you by holding L1, you might find that you miss stuff you can steal if you’re rushing on through.
