Hopping straight into the story mode offered in Mortal Kombat 11 is a good way to get a feel for the controls and changes to the combat system. It’s a great place to practice and hone your skills, but once you’ve gone through it once you may want to skip those lengthy cutscenes to get straight into the action.

How to Skip Cutscenes in Mortal Kombat 11

To skip cutscenes in Mortal Kombat 11 merely lick the start/options button during the cutscene. You may need to wait a few seconds for the cutscene to load. If you try and skip it too quickly you will get a “please wait” message on the bottom of the screen.

After a few seconds, you’ll be good to go and skip the cutscene. This works for all cutscenes in the game and will significantly cut down your completion time for the story.

Of course, we recommend watching the cutscenes as they are both action-packed filled with gore.

There is plenty of other stuff to check out in Mortal Kombat 11 outside of the story mode. Test your might at the Tower, unlock goods in the Krypt, or even take your brutality online and face off against other challenging opponents.
