Mass Effect Andromeda: How to Equip Weapons and Mods

Mass Effect: Andromeda will let you smooth talk your way through the galaxy, but more often than not you’ll be shooting up a storm as you journey through the universe to find humanity a new home. You’re going to want to be fully decked out, as such! It’s important to make sure your loadout is as top-notch as it can be.

To equip new weapons and mods, you’re going to need to not be out and about. That’s right, there’s no switching on the fly from your inventory. Consider that it’s all on the Tempest, and you only can utilize it all before you disembark. Once you’re ready to leave the Tempest, though, you’ll be asked about your loadout. Here is where you can choose which weapon to equip in the slots you have, as well as choose to mod them if you have any appropriate mods.

Choose your melee weapon, and two other weapons to start. You can unlock more holsters as you level up your Fitness skill under Combat. The sky’s the limit on which combinations you want to take with you on your missions, provided you have the weaponry.
