Sidearms
All Weapons Far Cry 4
For the most part, sidearms in Far Cry 4 consist of pistols and small submachine guns. There are a couple of surprises within however, and they can pack quite a punch. Here are all the weapons in Far Cry 4 and how good they are.
Mark IV
This weapon is meat and potatoes. Its rate of fire is slow, but you could hammer nails all day with this thing and it’ll cut dead center every time.
M-712
This is a vintage pistol from the 1920s. It’s not spectacular by any means, but it’s overall a decent early weapon. As a bonus, it looks like something you’d find in a BioShock game.
1911
The 1911 is your basic pistol. It’s dependable and handy to have as a backup, but I guarantee you’ll seek out other sidearms before long.
6P9
Nostalgic for something that 007 would carry? Try this; a small Russian-made pistol tailor-made for a silencer attachment.

A.J.M. 9
This pistol is…well, it’s the RoboCop gun, last seen in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. All you need to do is get 30 Uplay points, and it’s all yours.
Skorpion
A Czech submachine gun. It’s sexy looking and it’ll unload a million bullets, but it’s a bit too ‘spray and pray’ for Far Cry 4‘s large game world.
Flare Gun
A flare gun is usually intended for revealing your location and getting help. In Far Cry 4, it’s perfect for starting fires and griefing on NPCs and other players.
Auto-Cross
This is a great weapon for long distance clean kills of all types of targets.
D2
Even though it’s listed as a sidearm, the D2 is a double-barrelled shotgun. Reload time is a nightmare, but a couple of well-placed shots can be all you need to take down nearby opposition.
M-79
I’ve loved this weapon ever since Syphon Filter. This is a miniature grenade launcher that’s super effective for thinning out a crowd of enemies. It’s only got one shot in the chamber however, so make it count.
Primary Weapons
All Weapons Far Cry 4
If you’re like me, these are the weapons you’re going to be using the most. There’s something here for any preference, so have a look and choose wisely.
Hunting Bow
If you’re into going strictly low-tech, then you’ll dig the hunting bow. It’s not the easiest weapon to use, but there’s some satisfaction in getting a clean kill with it.
Recurve Bow
If you’re serious about bow hunting, then this is a more reasonable option than the hunting bow. Try using explosive arrows and fire arrows to really even the odds.
MP34
Now here’s a classic that goes all the way back to World War II. This Austrian made rifle has a distinctive side clip, and in spite of its low damage is a solid weapon with which to start off.
A2000
Here we have a submachine gun with better accuracy than the Skorpion, but with all the same limitations. Use it in close quarters only.
MP5
In most shooters the MP5 is my weapon of choice, and Far Cry 4 is no exception. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and is ridiculously versatile. You can’t go wrong with this one.
M133
Nothing commands authority in combat like a good shotgun, and the M133 is the model of exquisite simplicity.
1887
The glorious 1887 is a lever-action shotgun. In terms of stats, it’s just like the M133, except a little bit better in every way. Plus, it’s the weapon of choice for this dude.
AK47
Ever heard of this weapon? It’s only the most popular assault rifle in history, and it’s about as standard as weapons get in these types of games. That being said, it is undeniable that the AK is AOK in any situation.
STG-90
This rifle is nothing special at longer ranges, but it’s the epitome of Swiss precision in your average firefight.

F1
The FAMAS F1 is also known as the Metal Gear Solid rifle…you all call it that too, right? Anyway, this is the perfect accessory for the more refined rebel.
MS16
This semi-automatic rifle looks like something out of Call of Duty 2, but don’t laugh. While it may not be a sexy choice of weapon, it will knock an enemy on its ass with one shot.
SVD
Far Cry 4 just wouldn’t be a proper shooter if it didn’t have this legendary sniper rifle in it. The best thing about the SVD is that thanks to its high rate of fire, even if your first shot misses, you can knock off a few more before the target even realizes it.
M-700
Now here’s a classic hunting rifle. Make sure you aim carefully or your target might shoot back!
PKM
This is a heavy duty machine gun designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov (Mr. AK-47 himself). This weapon is ideal for the adventurer who wants to go ‘Full Rambo.’
U100
A light machine gun which has decent stats no matter what your preference is. As an added bonus, it’s got a really sweet reload time.
RPG-7
You know the deal: Aim rocket launcher. Shoot rocket launcher. Cook marshmallows on burning rubbish left behind from rocket launcher. Just don’t miss.
GL-94
I love shotguns, but you know what makes them even better? Replacing shotgun shells with grenades.
LK-1018
This is another rocket launcher, complete with all the benefits and drawbacks of the RPG-7. This one however does give you a bit of a leg up in terms of accuracy.
.700 Nitro
Also known as an ‘elephant gun’, this is designed for taking down big game. Seriously, this rifle is ridiculous.
Flamethrower
Burn baby, burn. This weapon isn’t really suited to every occasion, but it’s a hell of a lot of fun under the right circumstances.
Signature Weapons
All Weapons Far Cry 4
Signature weapons are basically selections from the weapons listed previously, but with special additions to make them more powerful. As you complete side objectives, they become available to purchase. Each of them has some combination of silencer, red dot sight, or an optical scope to give you that extra edge in combat. Here’s a quick rundown of what your hard earned money can buy.
Sixer: A Mark IV with a reflex sight.
HS77: A silenced M-712 with a scope.
Cannon: A .44 Magnum with a scope.
Rebel: A submachine gun with a reflex sight.
Stormer: An MP34 with a reflex sight.
Stinger: Sadly, not a guided missile launcher. It is a silenced Skorpion though, so that’s pretty cool.
Shredder: A silenced and scoped rifle. Arguably the best weapon in the game.
87: An 1887 shotgun with a reflex sight.
Bull: An M133 with an optical scope. If you’re a shotgun fan, this is the holy grail.
Warrior: An AK-47 with a silencer and scope. This weapon is the epitome of balance.
Trooper: This upgrade to the MS16 nicely compensates for the low fire rate by adding a silencer and giving you the drop on enemies.
Bushman: This assault rifle does a ton of damage and is pretty decent at long range.
Predator: A silenced M-700 sniper rifle. They’ll never hear you coming.
AMR: Same as the SVD, except deadlier.
Ripper: This rifle is up there with the shredder. It’s a monster of a weapon, and it’s well worth the high price tag.
Buzzsaw: This launcher has a scope for aiming, and has an excellent rate of fire. Perfect for watching the world burn.
And Last But Not Least
All Weapons Far Cry 4
Kukri
The kukri is a kind of machete. It’s your primary melee weapon; used for takedowns and personal encounters. It’s pretty decent as a last resort, but if you’re using this in a firefight, you’re in trouble my friend.
