Here is a quick guide to help you get rolling in the dough, so that you can purchase all that you Mortal Kombat X heart desires. Some of these helpful tips will require the use of the Krypt itself, so use this handy guide to help you open up each area.

Fight

Mortal Kombat X does a great job of rewarding players whether or not they win or lose. For completing matches you will be granted a sum of Koins, but that’s not the only time you’ll see your Koin account increase. You can actually earn Koins in the middle of battle as well.

Doing combos, using the environment, pulling off special moves, and completing many other actions will periodically reward you Koins and experience. For example, your first time using the environment will get you some, but then use it 10 more times and you’ll get an upgraded reward. Same goes for every other fancy action you can do in Mortal Kombat X.

Koin Chests

Mortal Kombat X‘s Krypt contains many coffins, chests, corpses, and other containers for you to open up and receive some useful surprises. Some of these locations actually house a decent amount of Koins for you to use elsewhere in the Krypt in your quest to unlock everything that Mortal Kombat X has to offer.

Explore the Krypt

While the chests found within Mortal Kombat X‘s Krypt will contain enough Koin to keep you shopping for a short while, you can find just as much (if not more) by simply exploring. Opening up different passageways using the tools you’ve found will oftentimes reward you with a large sum of Koins. And that isn’t all that exploring has to offer.

If you want to take a break from the constant fighting and just want to see the sights, then take a stroll through the different areas of the Krypt. Every now and then a random enemy will pop up with a single button QTE. Hit the proper button and you’ll be rewarded with 200-500 Koins every single time. Not too shabby for just taking a walk. The best part is that sometimes they happen at a pretty solid rate guaranteeding you a few thousand Koins in a short amount of time.

Now you have a steady income of Koins to use however you see fit. Go forth and purchase. For more guides, tips, tricks and information on Mortal Kombat X check out our wiki.
