Star Citizen is continuing to make progress toward the release of the next alpha numbered 3.13, and today a new video was released.
First off, we get a deep dive into ground vehicles, also providing a look at the upcoming Tumbril Nova tank.
The video then showcases UI changes, environmental changes made to small space stations, habitation lighting, New Babbage’s hospital, and colonial outposts.
You can watch it below.
In other Star Citizen news, the crowdfunding total is currently at $349,749,377
The number of registered accounts recently passed three million, and it’s at 3,037,911 at the moment of this writing.
As usual, you should keep in mind that it’s known that not all of them are paying players. The number includes free accounts created for a variety of reasons, including Free Fly events and more.
We recently learned that 2020 was a record year for Star Citizen’s extremely successful crowdfunding campaign, shattering the previous record from 2019.
More insight about the game’s successful year and what can be expected going forward was shared by Cloud Imperium Games CEO Chris Roberts himself.
If you want to learn even more, we recently saw a really lovely cinematic trailer. On top of that, we heard that a new studio has been opened to create new systems and content for Star Citizen.
If you’re wondering whether the game is actually fun to play, this is a good place to start.
The game’s alpha is currently playable on PC, and a star-studded single-player campaign titled Squadron 42 is in development.
