Mario Maker 2 Magician Makes a Level With a Working Calculator, as If Players Haven’t Done Enough Crazy Stuff

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

When we thought that there were already some pretty crazy Super Mario Maker 2 levels out there, of course, somebody has to come along and blow all of our expectations out of the water. A SMM2 creator that goes by Helgefan has managed to create an in-game calculator that can solve rudimentary math problems by using digits from one to nine.

You start off the level by picking two digits and then you have the option to add or subtract them. After being in what feels like the innards of a Mario-themed calculator for a few minutes, the level somehow ends up with the correct answer.

We’re not entirely sure how this crazy Mario magic was done, but the creator is actually planning on putting out a video where they explain the creative process, according to his friend on Reddit.

You can watch a gameplay video of the course in action down below courtesy of Prosafia Gaming, but keep in mind that the creator’s name is Helgefan and you can play it by inputting this course ID into the game: C81-8H4-RGG.

This calculator could really come in handy if you’re… I don’t know… teaching a little kid math problems or something.
