Recommended Videos

If you really want to show off your racer bling in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, you’re going to want to get your hands on all the gold parts that the game has to offer. Right from the start, you’ll have most of the kart bodies and customization parts available to you. You’ll still have to collect coins to unlock even more customization parts, but the gold parts are definitely the most coveted ones.

In order to unlock them, you’ll have to put in quite a bit of time and work. We’ve listed the requirements for each of the gold parts down below.

  • Gold kart body: Get a star rank in every available Grand Prix cup in Mirror mode.
  • Gold tires: Beat the staff ghosts in every 150cc time trial.
  • Gold glider: Collect a total of 10,000 coins.

It’s a lot of work, but the payoff will be worth it. Now, you just need to unlock Gold Mario to complete the golden bling set, and your racer will be perfect.

Do you have any strategies for taking on this colossal challenge? Let us know in the comments down below.
