Compile Heart has been pretty stingy in showing its upcoming JRPG Death End re;Quest 2 in motion, but that ends today.

The developer suddenly released a whopping 30 minutes of gameplay. It’s the very beginning of the game, you can enjoy meeting several new characters for the first time.

The game certainly looks intriguing, definitely even darker than its predecessor.

Compile Heart revealed Death End re;Quest 2 a few months ago after teasing it for a few days and it’s the sequel to Death End re;Quest, which has recently been released in the west for PS4 and PC.

The release date in Japan is set for February 13, exclusively (for now) for PS4. No western release has been announced for now. Hopefully the good folks at Idea Factory international will come up with an announcement soon.
