Be careful of checking it too early though.

Checking the Flowchart in Zero Escape: The Nonary Games

Recommended Videos

Virtue’s Last Reward featured a neat Flowchart feature that allowed you to keep track of in-game events. However, 999 didn’t have that function when it was originally released on the DS. With The Nonary Games, 999 has received the Flowchart feature as well, making it much easier for players to take note of the branching paths and their decisions.

To check the Flowchart, simply press down on your d-pad to bring it up. This will give you an idea of just how long the game is, along with indicators that show how many events you can unlock. Of course, events that you haven’t seen yet will be indicated with a question mark so you won’t be spoiled. However, do be warned that the Flowchart could potentially ruin your first-time experience if you look at it too early, especially if you don’t want to know how many different branching paths or combinations you can take while making a decision. I recommend playing through the game blind during your first run, then start referring to the Flowchart from your second run onwards.
