Zelda Breath of the Wild: How to Create Updrafts

Create Updrafts – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

One of the many new ways Link can traverse the world in Breath of the Wild is with the paraglider. Now capable of sailing over dangerous hazards, huge chasms, and enemy’s heads, there are a ton of new approaches that Link can take to a variety of situations in Breath of the Wild. Of course, gravity will take course and bring you down after a while, which means sometimes you may need to create updrafts.

Updrafts essentially allow you to put some wind in your sails and gain height. Even if you’re just standing on the ground, updrafts do magic for your paraglider.

In order to create updrafts, you’ll simply need to set the lush grass in Breath of the Wild on fire. With a little bit of magic, Link will be sailing through the air higher than he ever thought possible.

If you’re struggling to find a way to set the grass on fire, simply use fire arrows and aim them straight at the ground.

That’s all you need to know to create these handy gusts of wind for your paraglider. For more tips, tricks, and information on Zelda Breath of the Wild, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
