Farosh – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Farosh is one of the massive elemental dragons you’ll encounter in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, although this one is a little more difficult to find. Luckily Farosh is docile, and won’t actively attack Link on sight. The item you can get from the dragon is Farosh’s Horn, which is essential for upgrading the Champion’s Tunic with a Great Fairy.
The catch with this beast is that she only appears at night, around the Lake Hylia area. Teleport to the Lake Tower near the lake itself, and jump off then glide down to the bridge. The dragon appears around midnight, if you’re close enough to have her spawn. Find a spot on the bridge and make a campfire, then wait until midnight. Keep in mind that with Farosh usually comes a lightning storm, as she’s the spirit of lightning, so you might want to avoid using any kind of metal equipment.
To get Farosh’s Horn you’ll need to shoot the massive dragon with arrows, which can be easier said than done. Farosh usually appears around the Northwest area of Lake Hylia, so find a high spot and wait for the dragon to approach. Once she’s close enough, jump off and use your paralgider to get close, than slow down time and shoot her with arrows. Farosh’s Horn is at the top of her head, and should fly off of the beast if you hit it enough, allowing you to collect the item, along with some others. Just be careful, as electric orbs will radiate off the dragon, and they can harm you. The enormous size of the beast will create updrafts, so if you can get below her you’ll be able to use your paraglider to get close.
You’ll need two of Farosh’s Horn to upgrade the Champion’s Tunic, so you’ll need to do this on two different nights. Luckily, you can’t kill the dragon, so you can continue to farm it for resources in Breath of the Wild, if you so choose. Any items that drop from her should glow, so don’t worry about not being able to find them.
