How to Get Gems – Yu Gi Oh Duel Links

In Yu Gi Oh Duel Links you can decide to battle as many people as you want with your basic deck, or you can decide to change things up by buying packs of cards. The thing is, in order to get packs, you need to buy them from the shop with gems.

There are actually a few different ways to get gems — you should receive some as you go through the tutorial, which will reward you once you complete the beginning duel. Next, you should be heading over to your notifications, which can be accessed via the mail icon once you’re in the world. You’ll then want to exit out of your notifications and look towards the box right next to it. There should be a red exclamation point on it, which means you have been awarded gifts. Tap on that icon and either tap one gift at a time to receive it or tap the button that says, “Receive All.”

That should give you a hefty amount of gems to start off, but in Yu Gi Oh Duel Links, having a lot of gems can never be a bad thing. You can also earn more by looking to the left-hand corner, where you’ll see Missions and a stage number. Tap on that and you’ll see a number of different stage and weekly missions, there will also be Lifetime missions under the Special tab. Once you have completed their requirements, you can come back and claim your gem reward. As you work on the missions you’ll notice that your character begins to level up, this is also another way to quickly get gems. Also don’t forget to take advantage of the Duel School near the gate, you will be rewarded gems for completing quizzes.

Now you should have more than enough gems in Yu Gi Oh Duel Links to buy several card packs from the shop. Use those to create the deck of your dreams, or the nightmare of all those who stand in your way.
