How to Get the Beastly Core Crystal in Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Recommended Videos

Core Crystals are incredibly important items in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, as they allow you to awaken new Blades to use in battle. These crystals can give you a wide array of Blades, each with their own unique elements, abilities, and arts. In addition to the numerous Common and Rare crystals you get in the game, there are also a few special ones. One of those is the Beastly Core Crystal, in which you’ll receive a powerful Earth Blade named Wulfric.

To get the Beastly Core Crystal, progress to Chapter 3 of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and meet Vandham in the Kingdom of Uraya. Eventually, you’ll head out with him on a mercenary assignment, and after following the story for a bit, face a boss named the Elder Arachno. Simply beat this boss, make sure to keep your healing up, and afterward you’ll be given the Beastly Core Crystal as a reward automatically. You will not, however, be able to open it just yet, as it is only made available to players later in the fourth chapter of the story.
