How to Get Wakening Essence in World of Warcraft (WoW)

World of Warcraft is the MMO that just seems to keep on giving. On top of all the story quests that players can embark on, there’s the constant tease of more powerful weapons and gear for players to get their hands on. One material you’ll need if you want to upgrade your Legion Legendary items to item level 1000 is Wakening Essence. Here’s what you need to know to get your hands on it in World of Warcraft.

The first thing that’s worth noting when hunting down this stuff in WoW is that it can, for the most part, be earned in the same ways you can get Writhing Essence. Emissary caches can contain about 4-10 Wakening Essence, Daily Legion Heroic Dungeons can reward you with 5, and even Weekly PvP rewards such as rated battlegrounds can net you about 7 Wakening Essence.

You can also get about 3-6 of this resource per each of the Antorus bosses. However, it’s worth noting that you’ll only get this drop from each boss once a week. After the first drop, they won’t drop any more.

Rounding out the ways you can get Wakening Essence are the Weekly Mythic chests. You’ll get about 20 from these, but once you’ve got ’em once, you’ll have to wait for the weekly reset.

That’s all you need to know to get Wakening Essence in World of Warcraft (WoW). For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
