Rename Mirages – World of Final Fantasy

Recommended Videos

Whenever you capture Mirages in World of Final Fantasy, you’ll get a chance to name them whatever you want. After capturing them with a suitable Prismarium, the game will bring up a quick stats screen to show you the skills, strengths, and weaknesses of the Mirage you just caught. After that, you’ll get a prompt to rename the Mirage. You can also choose not to rename it, and let the Mirage stick with its default title.

However, once you’ve closed the screen, you won’t get another chance to rename your critter. This means that the only chance for you to give it a new name is right after you’ve caught it, so make sure you’re happy with your designated name before confirming your input. If you want your Mirage to sport a different name, you can always capture another of the same type of Mirage, and rename that one instead. However, that also means that you’ll have to train it up again to learn all its unlocked abilities. There doesn’t seem to be a way to change your Mirage names during other points in the game at the moment.
