Sephiroth Champion Summon – World of Final Fantasy

World of Final Fantasy is a nostalgia-filled package stuffed with characters, monsters, and references to past games. During battle, you can use a feature called “Invoking the Champions,” to summon famous Final Fantasy characters and use a powerful attack. Sephiroth, the renowned villain of Final Fantasy VII, is one of those characters, but he’s obtained a bit differently.

First and foremost, at the moment, Sephiroth is only available as DLC for the game. In order to get the character, you’ll need to have pre-ordered the game and/or purchased the Day One Edition. This comes packed with the Sephiroth Summon, White Chocobo, Glow Moogle, Red Bonnetberry, and Japanese voice-overs. Conversely, Sephiroth is also included if you purchase the Collector’s Edition for World of Final Fantasy.

Once you have your game and entered your download code, you’ll need to play a little while before you can access Sephiroth. After clearing the first couple of dungeons and chapters, you’ll eventually meet a character referred to as “The Girl Who Forgot Her Name.” This character is found in Nine Woods Tail at the “Girl’s Team Room.” She allows you to take on quests to intervene in the problems of Champions, therein gaining them as a summon in battle. Finding her will give you access to summoning Sephiroth in battle, in all his fiery glory.
