Normally, 2025 would feel like a joke date.

In some good news, the next Avengers movie has been announced. In bad news, there is quite a bit the MCU will have to get through before the new movie will come to theaters near you. Here’s when Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will be coming out.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty Release Date

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will be the fifth Avengers movie in the MCU and will be releasing in theaters on May 2, 2025. That’s not a typo; Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is still barely under three years away.

Considering the large number of MCU titles coming between now and May 2025, it is highly likely the hero roster in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will be entirely different than what was seen in Avengers: Endgame.

While ,of course, there are no story details at present, a slight bit of context can be gleaned from the title. Kang refers to the character played by Jonathan Majors in the Loki series. Kang will be playing a large role in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and it is likely this will serve as a sort of setup for the future Avengers film.
