What Second Wind Is & How to Use it in We Happy Few

Recommended Videos

We Happy Few can be a very unforgiving game, but there are a few options that allow players to make the experience a bit more bearable. One of the options is called Second Wind. This mechanic delays death when your health reaches zero, instead placing you in a near-death state so you have one last opportunity to either win your fight or get the hell out of there.

Like permadeath, Second Wind can only be enabled/disabled from the main menu when starting a new game. If you are already in a game of We Happy Few with this mechanic disabled, you’ll have to exit and start an entirely new one, losing all of your progress. It’s a worthwhile mechanic if you find yourself dying too easily and are having trouble learning the ropes.

Once the option is activated, you can trigger the effect simply by getting your butt kicked. Or, you can just trust it will work and do your best to survive. The choice is yours, at least now you know how to activate the option.

That’s all you need to know about Second Wind and how to use it in We Happy Few. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
