There are some steps involved before you even get to make this big call regarding one of the Council’s most influential members in the prison on Staten Island.

  1. Open up the cells and get rid of all the guards.

You can do this easily by utilizing the werewolf that can be freed.

  2. Head down the stairs.

After the guards are eliminated, head downstairs and go through the bottom cell block. Open the first door on the right.

  3. Talk to Underwood.

You can speak to Berel Underwood here, who is currently raving after being starved. He will reveal that he has turned Feng into his own Childe.

  4. Make your decision.

Bazory will have the choice of either killing Berel or letting him live. We ended up sparing Berel due to the fact that Bazory is his sire.

Despite always ensnaring us in schemes or making us fail his skill checks, letting Berel live led to a more satisfying result. Berel eventually apologizes to Bazory, and even thanks him for letting him live. Of course, you could have ended his life, and that will lead to a variety of different endings for Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong.

And that’s everything you need to know about whether to kill Berel Underwood or let him live.
