Can You Change the Language in Tropico 6? What You Need to Know
One of the defining features of the Tropico series is its Caribbean island setting. It would make a lot of sense for your in-game citizens to speak the language that your title “El Presidente” comes from. So if you’re wondering how to change the language in Tropico 6, here’s what you need to know.
As of now, it is unfortunately not possible to change the language in the game. We checked through all of the available menus/options and couldn’t find any way to do it. Tropico 6 is available in a number of languages from French to Korean, but if you’ve purchased the English version, it’s not possible to change the spoken in-game language.
Developer Limbic Entertainment may come up with an update in the future that adds this feature to the English version of the game– and we really hope they do! In fact, we’re a little surprised you can’t change the language at the moment. But, until then, you’ll just have to use your imagination. Sorry if that breaks your immersion.
