At the end of each one of Travis Strikes Again‘s Death Ball video games, you’ll be tasked with taking on a boss. Electro Triple Star is the boss of the Electro Thunder Tiger II Death Ball – the very first game you’ll play. Here’s how to beat Electro Triple Star in Travis Strikes Again should it be causing you some problems.

Electro Triple Star is actually fairly straightforward to beat in Travis Strikes Again. Its first phase sees it casting electric balls into the sky and dropping them across the arena as an AOE attack and firing off some shots from his cannon. He’ll also start throwing out weak basic enemies to mix things up a bit.

We used the Heavy skill to slow Electro Triple Star down, and then used our heavy attacks (X) to chip away at his health. When it’s ready, use your charge attack to deal massive damage. Using your Wing Chip and Shining Chip skills is also a handy method, as these can deal out heavy damage from a distance.

In phase 2 of the Electro Triple Star fight in Travis Strikes Again, you need to destroy the lights around the edge of the arena. Normal attacks won’t damage Triple Star until you take out the lights first, but watch out for the larger AOE attack that Triple Star fires at you while sending in waves of enemies.

Take out the enemies with quick light attacks (Y), and deal damage to the lights when possible, before using your dodge to evade the AOE attack. Then it’s back to dealing damage to Triple Star.

Once the lights around the edge of the arena have been cleared, Electro Triple Star has another AOE damage where he basically self-destructs, dealing massive damage to his surrounding area. Use your dodge when you see him beginning to telegraph this to avoid damage, then hop back in and rinse repeat our method from phase 1.

Once you’ve drained the entirety of the boss’ health, you’ll then need to get up close and attack him once more to initiate the finisher. You’ll have a little cutscene of Travis dealing his finishing blow, and that’ll be the fight over. You’ve now successfully cleared Travis Strikes Again’s first level.
