Puzzles are easily the most challenging battles in Thronebreaker The Witcher Tales. But if you’re looking to collect all the cards in the game, you’ll definitely want to beat them. Here’s the She-Troll Puzzle solution in Thronebreaker.

As with all the puzzles in the game, you’ll need to place each card and activate its special ability in a careful order to beat it. In the case of the She-Troll puzzle, you’re looking to take out the She-Troll but also build enough armor to withstand the lightning attack from her trophy card.

Every time you place a card, the trophy card will gain a charge, which will then strike as you attack the She-Troll. Obviously, that’s going to mean curtains for your weakest cards –namely, the Wagenberg and Light Infantry cards.

Most importantly, you need to build armor for the Wagenberg card for the purposes of then attacking the She-Troll with the power it has built. As a reminder: more armor equates to more damage for the Wagenberg card and placing cards on its row builts that armor value.

Here are the steps to beat the She-Troll Puzzle:

1. Deploy Wagenburg on melee row
2. Deploy Grey Rider on melee row
3. Deploy second Grey Rider on melee row
4. Deploy War Wagon on ranged row
5. Trigger one Light Infantry card’s move ability (to melee row)
6. Deploy second War Wagon to melee row
7. Trigger one Light Infantry card’s move ability (to ranged row)
8. Trigger one Light Infantry card’s move ability (to melee row)
9. Trigger one Light Infantry card’s move ability (to ranged row)
10. Deploy Reynard to melee row
11. Trigger one Light Infantry card’s move ability (to ranged row)
12. Trigger one Light Infantry card’s move ability (to melee row)
13. Trigger one Light Infantry card’s move ability (to ranged row)
14. Trigger one Light Infantry card’s move ability (to melee row)
15. You will now have built enough armor to destroy the She-Troll with one shot

That will spell the end of the road for the Troll and you’ll have your victory.
