How to Get a Machete in The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure

Recommended Videos

The Sims 4: Jungle Adventure means a whole new world for your sims to explore. And die in, to be honest. Selvadorada’s jungle is incredibly dangerous, and if you’re not prepared, you’re going to get mauled by something. One of the pieces of equipment you won’t want to leave your lodging without is the machete.

When you first go on vacation, you’ll get to choose where you’re going to stay. When you do, your sim will be given a starter pack of sorts, which includes the machete. If it doesn’t, you can always head to the bar in the marketplace quarter and check out the bazaar tables out front to get yourself anything you might need, including that big ol’ knife. Simply wait for a vendor to stand next to a table and purchase it from them.

To use your machete, find a path blocked by thorny vines and click on it. Choose the option that allows you to whack on through with your machete and you’ll have cleared a path to continue on your quest to find the hidden temple.
