Super Mario Party: How to Unlock All Characters
Super Mario Party is here and it’s time to lose all your friendships. You might notice while in the character select screen that you’re actually missing some to complete the whole crew. Well, with this game having an emphasis on characters having unique dice rolls, you’re definitely going to want to unlock them all! Here’s how to get all characters in Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch.
First and foremost, the characters you can get are Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, Pom Pom, and Dry Bones. This is in addition to Mario, Peach, Luigi, Daisy, Bowser, Koopa, Shy Guy, Monty Mole, Bowser Jr, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, Rosalina, Goomba, and Hammer Bro. Quite the crowd, right?
Let’s go over how to unlock each of the missing ones below. Note that after you’ve done what they all need, you’ll have to chat with them in the plaza area of the game.
How to Unlock Donkey Kong
For this big ol’ lug, you’re going to need to finish River Survival with every single path possible. This is the one where you’re going to be working with your crew to make it through a slippery jungle. Fitting, right?
Anyway, his dice roll is 5 coins, three zeroes, or two tens.. A small amount of lows make up for the mega gains he can get.
How to Unlock Diddy Kong
This quick little monkey will only become available when you finish a board in the Challenge Mode. We’ll update this post as soon as we find out which.
His dice will entail three zeroes and three sevens. Pretty wack, pretty good. Hard to say, depending on your luck!
How to Unlock Pom Pom
She’s pretty in pink and she’s here to party! Provided that you finish Salty Sea in Challenge Mode first, of course.
Whenever she rolls the die, she’ll have a choice between a zero, four threes, and an eight.
How to Unlock Dry Bones
Who plays as this guy? Seriously, I want to know. Leave a comment down below if you do. I can’t imagine anyone actually chooses this one over Koopa.
Well, if you like him, you’re going to need to just keep on playing games in the plaza! Play those games, get those gems, and he’ll join up in no time. For myself, I got him once I played two boards in Mario Party, one path in the River Survival, and one go at the Sound Stage.
His die will lead to either three ones or three sixes. Fitting numbers there, eh?
And, of course, once you unlock each of these characters, you’ll be able to gain them as allies, too, if you land on the Ally space and get them randomly from the choices.
That’s all there is to it, though! That’s how you get all characters in Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch! Looking for more help? Keep your eyes peeled on Twinfinite. Here’s your one stop shop for online play in the game, too.
