How to Play State of Decay 2 Early (Early Access)

Recommended Videos

State of Decay 2 is coming fast and both Xbox One and PC players (through Xbox Play Anywhere) will have a whole new zombie survival adventure to undergo. Players need to make sure their community survives and thrives in the apocalypse, and fans are itching to get started. While the official release date is May 22, here’s how you can get your hands on it early.

First and foremost, yo’re going to need to preorder yourself the Ultimate Edition of the game. While it’s $20 more than the regular edition at $49.99, you’ll get to play 4 days earlier (May 18) and also access to the Independence and Daybreak packs. These packs bring on new vehicles, new maps, new facilities, and more. Not bad considering the original game is only $29.99 as it is, right? You’ll get to download it first and get extra content added on!

If it’s too much for you and you’re okay with waiting, though, the option is of course there! Just be sure you have enough FOMO repellant. Especially if your friends are getting in on the action early.

That’s how you can play State of Decay 2 early! If you need more help with the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
