Can You Change Your Appearance in State of Decay 2?

Recommended Videos

State of Decay 2 will have you taking control of a lot of different survivors. Each of them have their own stats and perks, and even their own personalities. Naturally, they also don different clothes and looks. As players, we’re used to simply changing something we don’t like off a character, so it’s normal you’ve stumbled upon this guide!

Unfortunately, though, State of Decay 2 isn’t like other games in that respect. You won’t be able to change any survivor’s appearance. Not their clothes, nor their hair, nor their beards, nor anything else. What they look like is what they’re stuck with. This is a huge shame – as it always is – because individuality when creating your own community could add a lot of roleplaying in games like this. Imagine having a whole community of duster wearing cowboys. Sick, right?

You’d think with all you scavenge in the world of the game, you’d uncover a duster or two somewhere along the way. But anyway, I digress.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news about changing your appearance, but if you need any more help with State of Decay 2, let us know in the comments down below and we’ll do our best to help you out, or check out our wiki.
