How to Get the Garden Upgrade in Spiritfarer

The Garden upgrade is one of the easier ones to track down in Spiritfarer, but is also easy to miss if you don’t talk to the right NPC; specifically, the gardener at Gwen’s childhood home, Villa Magiore.

After progressing her questline to the point where you visit the mansion, you’ll find the gardener staying on the top floor. After reaching him and talking to him, he’ll return to the entrance of the Manor, and if you talk to him he’ll say he’s going back to living in the nearby garden house now that Gwen is back.

After he says this, follow him back to the Garden House and wait for him to unlock its front door. Then, head inside to find a Hidden Treasure pedestal which you can open to obtain the Garden Upgrade. You’ll then be able to craft it at your ship’s Blueprint Stand by spending 12 Linen Fabric, 12 Wool Fabric and 12 Nebula Fabric.

What the Garden Upgrade Does

As for what the Garden Upgrade does in Spiritfarer, it’s pretty useful.

Once it has been built, the upgrade will double the growth speed of any vegetables planted in the garden. This makes it exponentially easier to amass a stockpile of vegetable-based ingredients, and can help you craft dishes involving vegetables at a much faster rate.
