How to Get the Tome & Light the Candles in South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Recommended Videos

One of the side quests you’ll come across in South Park: The Fractured But Whole is one which tasks you with finding a tome and lighting some candles for the Goths. Here’s where you’ll find the tome and what you need to do to light the candles.

First things first, head out of the Goth kid’s room and go to the room across the hall at the end of the corridor. Go on inside and right in front of the computer desk, by the wall, you’ll see the Tome. Head back into the Goth’s room and he’ll ask you place it in the center of the Pentagram. Now for lighting those damn candles.

For this, you’ll need the Snap N’ Pop ability. You’ll unlock this pretty early on in South Park: The Fractured But Whole in Craig’s basement, so don’t worry if you don’t have it yet. You’ll unlock it very soon.

Make your way back to the Goth kid’s house and head straight up to his room. Now, hold L2 and press Square (LT and B on Xbox One) while holding the reticle over each of the candles in the room. Once they’re all lit, some crazy stuff’ll happen and you’ll be left with a chest to open.
