How to Make Objects Bigger in The Sims 4

Recommended Videos

Just because The Sims 4’s eclectic mix of furniture and other objects comes in a default size, doesn’t mean that you have to keep it that way. After all, having a tiny round table or rug in the middle of your giant mansion’s lounge is gonna look plain dumb, so here’s what you need to know to make objects bigger in The Sims 4.

To make any object bigger in The Sims 4, all you need to do is select it and then press the Shift + ‘]’. By holding down shift and tapping ‘]’ you’ll slowly start increasing the size of the object. It’s worth noting that you can’t make the object larger than the size of your entire lot (for obvious reasons), so don’t go thinkin’ you can just have furniture fit for a giant sprouting out the roof of your Sims’ house.

If you want to make objects smaller in The Sims 4, you’re going to press and hold the Shift key again, but this time tap the ‘[‘ key. Each tap will make the item a tiny bit smaller, so simply resize it to the perfect size you want it and you’re all set.

That’s about everything you need to know to make objects bigger and smaller again in The Sims 4. For any more help, be sure to search for Twinfinite or sound off in the comments below.
